Notice that in the top picture, the left side of the faces are darker because the lighting is from the right side. This causes higher contrast. The highlights on the cheeks and forehead will show nicely in a quilt.

The couple's expressions are better on the top picture. And the faces are tight together to reduce the overall size. This will still be a large quilt to get two faces in and maintain enough resolution to see details like Reba's dimples and Steve's blue eyes.
