Fabric requirements for 1 1/2" squares

• Cut about 25 squares from a 1 1/2" strip of fabric (42 - 44" selvage to selvage)

• Cut about 75 squares from a fat eighth, if you can buy one.

• Cut about 150 squares from a 1/4 yard (selvage to selvage or fat quarter)

• Cut about 300 squares from a 1/2 yard.

 Fabric requirements for 1" squares

• Cut about 40 squares from a 1" strip of fabric (42 - 44" selvage to selvage)

• Cut about 120 squares from a fat eighth, if you can buy one.

• Cut about 240 squares from a 1/4 yard (selvage to selvage or fat quarter)

• Cut about 480 squares from a 1/2 yard.
